And then, you might not get to go our for pizza like you've been looking forward to and talking about all week. That's what happens when you have birthdays around here. The wind comes sweeping down the plains, and it isn't kidding.
So... Sometimes, when you turn three, you spend your birthday in the coat closet under the stairs Harry Potter style with your family of five and your dog, and your Mom hands you tortillas because you haven't had dinner yet and you're really hungry, and it's your birthday and you were supposed to go out for pizza.
But then... the storm passes, and your Mom gives you chocolate pudding with sprinkles and three candles, and your get the coolest present evah...
Why, yes. Yes it is.
Tornadic activity, people! We weren't setting it up outside.
And yes, true to form, Lucas is wearing pajamas and Max is without pants. Don't judge me.
Big birthday gift.
yowza.
From Mommy, and Daddy, and his grandparents, and all his aunts and uncles.
Mommy and Daddy even got to play!
Sigh... Poor Daddy. He's a little long for the slide.
Hopefully the weather will be nice over the weekend for Max's party!
