Thanks, Husband.

It doesn't happen every day.  It doesn't happen every week.  It doesn't even happen every month.  But every once in a while, Gentle Reader...  Every once in a while, I have a really doozie of a day.  A real hum-dinger.  Yesterday had my number.  Or, should I say, Lucas and Max had my number.  Man...  whew.  Oh, the public humiliation.  I won't go into details, it's still all too fresh.

Chris came home early from work.  He took my hands in his, looked into my eyes, smiled and said, "I don't care where you go.  I don't care what you do.  But just leave."

And that, my friends, is true love.  That's the real deal.  That's the moment when you know you were really on your game when you decided to marry this guy.

So I did.  I ran.  Without looking behind me.  I went to Williams Sonoma to buy goodies for Easter baskets for little boys who didn't deserve them.  I know...  ridiculous.  Run away from home to buy Easter basket treats for the little hoodlums...  I know.  But Lucas has been carrying around a Williams Sonoma catalogue for weeks gazing at all the pretty treats...  I'm such a sucker.

And then I bought myself new clothes.

And then I went here...  And I had dinner all by myself.
Well, almost all by myself.  I had Miss Elizabeth Bennet to keep me company.
sigh...

And it was.  D I V I N E.

You are very blessed to have such a supportive spouse! My little guy has had a doozie of a week himself so I can appreciate you getting some much needed 'me time.'
