This has been somewhat of a hard week... I've been registering my Max for pre-K.
That means he'll be going to school next year, Gentle Reader.
School.
And leaving me behind...
WAAAAAA!!!!
So...
Max has gotten a royal pardon from his afternoon nap. Because I am desperate for every chance to hang out with him.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon cuddled up on the bottom bunk where I taught him how to use my iPhone.
He took this shot, three of my neck, six of my knees...
And I kid you not, twenty-two of the dog that look exactly like this.
Me and my Maxey... Man, I love this boy.
And on a side note, a Max side note, yesterday I told him how bad lying was. This was a necessary conversation, because he had told me that his brother had spilled some juice, when I knew for darn tootin' it was Max. (It had Max's name all over it. It wasn't a normal spill, like your average boring kid might do. Oh, no. This was a spill with style. A traveling spill, if you will. It spread through two entire rooms and up half of the staircase. And that, Gentle Reader, is Max's style. Not Lucas's. I wasn't fooled for a second.) When I told Max that lying was very bad, he scrunched up his eyebrows, put his hands on his hips and said in an affronted tone, I am NOT a lion!
Seriously. I should get some kind of medal for keeping a straight face with that one. At least a bronze.
On a second side note, I'm linking up with Embrace the Camera today! I haven't played this game in months. woo-hoo! So bop on over there and tell all those Mommies how pretty they look without make up on.

I love your first and last pic. Looks like you guys are having lots of fun. Too adorable!
What a talented little photographer you have there... can't believe you didn't post any pics of your knees ;)
jumped over here from Embrace the camera..im not a lion... i love it. Get every moment you can. My oldest is 7 and it breaks my heart that he is at school during the week more than he is at home. Max is a cutie.
Cute photos! :) And the "lion" thing cracks me up!
