It's Thursday, kids. That means Embrace the Camera Day! The day when mothers everywhere leave nice comments on blogs complementing one another's velour track suits and ability to accessorize.
This weekend, at my sweet Max's Birthday party... I gave up control of my camera. Kind of a big deal for this Mama to give up creative control. But I couldn't take photos of the Wild Rumpus because I was the narrator.
All of the kiddos made Wild Thing masks and kazoos. Then... when Max says, "And now, let the Wild Rumpus start!"
Well. The Wild Rumpus started.
They danced. They swung from imaginary trees. They kazood their kazoos off.
What a great way to spend an afternoon!
And don't worry... I seized back creative control as soon as Max returned home and his supper was still hot. All is good in the world.
