It's Thursday!  Embrace the Camera day!  The day of the week when Mommies everywhere post photos of themselves wearing sweatpants.  It's a beautiful thing.

But...

Not today, Zurg! 

(that would be a toy Story reference, for all of you that don't have little boys living in your house.)

Today's post is all about Daddy.

His birthday is tomorrow, and I have to start today talking about how wonderful he is.

Really, I should have started yesterday.  Or the day before.  Or last week.  That still wouldn't have been enough time to do the subject justice.

My boys have it so darn good.  They have such a wonderful Daddy.

He comes home from work every day and plays with them until dinner.  He gives horsey rides.  Swings them by their ankles.  Rolls around on the floor.

Then every night, he gives them their bath.  Puts them in their pajamas.  Reads a story.  Says prayers.  Gives a kiss.

 He pushes swings.  Pulls sleds.  Reads books.  Goes to parent teacher conferences and sits in tiny chairs.  Goes to two little kid birthday parties in one weekend.  Kisses boo-boos.  Wipes hineys.  Builds sand boxes in the rain because he promised two little boys they would have one.  Eats leftovers without complaining.  Loves my mother.

And he knows me better than anyone in the world.

And loves me anyway.
